The page your client books on

Choosing a day, a time and a zone, the confirmation, and how a client moves or cancels.

Last updated

This is the page your client opens from the link you sent, so it is worth knowing well enough to talk somebody through it on the phone. It carries your logo and your brand colour, and it needs no account, no password and nothing to install.

Choosing a time

Down the left is the meeting: its name, how long it runs, your name and the description you wrote. On the right, under Select a date and time, is a month calendar. Days you have nothing free are there but cannot be chosen.

Your client picks a day and the times available on it appear beside the calendar, or underneath it on a phone. They pick one and go on to the form.

Time zone sits above the calendar, set to wherever they are and showing the difference from yours. Every time on the page is in their zone, not yours, so nobody has to do the arithmetic. They can change it if they are booking for somewhere else.

Confirming

Confirm your details asks for Your name and Your email, and then anything you added to that booking link's form. They press Confirm booking.

The page then reads Your meeting is booked, with the time in their zone, and Add it to your calendar offering Google, Outlook and Apple or other. That is the only button there, deliberately: the useful thing at that moment is the meeting in their own diary with their own reminder.

What arrives by email

Your client gets a confirmation headed Your meeting is booked, with the subject Confirmed: followed by the meeting name and the time. It carries the details, the same add-to-calendar links, and two links reading Move this meeting and Cancel this meeting.

You get one too, headed New booking, with Open in Cecur Book to take you to your diary.

How they move or cancel

Through those two links in their email. They are the only route, so tell a client who says they have lost the email to search for the subject line rather than waiting for you.

Move this meeting shows Choose a new time, the same calendar as before against your current availability, and Confirm the new time. You are told, and everybody gets a fresh confirmation headed Meeting moved.

Cancel this meeting shows the meeting with Reason (optional) and a Cancel this meeting button. The reason reaches you and is shown on the meeting in your diary. The time becomes bookable again straight away.

Neither needs an account, and neither asks them to sign in.

If two people want the same time

The time is held for whoever confirms first. If a slot goes while somebody is filling in the form, the page tells them plainly, reloads what is free and asks them to pick again. Nothing is double-booked and nothing is lost except the choice.

The page says which of two things happened. This booking link is not available means the link has been taken down or deleted, and they should ask you for a new one. We could not load this booking page with a Try again button means their connection dropped, and a refresh usually fixes it.

If it loads but offers no times at all, see Nobody can book a time with me.
