Your profile and saved signature
Your name, your email address, and the signature we reuse for you.
Last updated
Your own settings live under Settings › You, in two screens: Profile for your details, and My signatures for the signatures and initials you reuse. Everything on them applies to you alone, not to your colleagues.
Your details
Profile opens on Your details.
- First Name and Last Name. Required, and this is the name that appears against everything you send.
- Email. Shown but not editable here. It is your sign-in address and your identity across every Cecur product, which is why it cannot be swapped from inside CecurSign. If you genuinely need a different address, an owner has to invite you under it.
- Phone (optional). For our team to reach you about your account. It is never shown to recipients and is never used for signing codes.
- Role. Shown but not editable. Only an owner or administrator can change it, on Settings › People. See Roles and what each one can do.
- Send envelopes as (optional). Overrides the "from" name on the envelopes you send, for you only. An envelope is a document you sent for signature together with everyone who has to act on it, and this is the name recipients see in their inbox. Replies still come back to your own email address. Leave it blank to use your company's sender name, or your own full name if it has none.
Changes are committed from the bar that appears at the foot of the screen while the form is dirty: Save changes, or Discard to put it back.
Security and notifications
Security shows whether your email address is verified, and lets you send yourself a fresh confirmation link if it is not.
Guided tours has one: Show tours automatically. Turned off, no walkthrough starts on its own, and the question mark in the header still starts one for whichever page you are on. That setting is saved to your account, so it follows you onto every device you sign in from.
Your saved signature
My signatures holds the signatures and initials you can drop onto a document, so you draw them once rather than every time. It keeps up to ten in total, counting signatures and initials together.
Add Signature and Add Initials open the same small editor with two tabs. Draw gives you a pad to sign on with a mouse, a finger or a stylus. Type turns your name into a signature in a style you pick. Give it a name you will recognise later, such as one for your usual signature and one for a formal version, and save it.
Each card carries Edit, to rename it or replace the image, and Delete. Any card that is not already the default also carries Set as default. The card marked Default is the one pre-selected when you sign, and you can still choose a different one, or draw a fresh signature, at the moment of signing.
Deleting a signature from your library changes nothing about documents already signed with it. A signature on a completed document is part of that document and its evidence record, and nothing here reaches back into it.
