Reading your dashboard
What each panel is counting, and what needs your attention today.
Last updated
Home is the first screen after you sign in, and it answers one question: what is waiting on you today. Across the top are the things you can start. Below that is a grid of panels you arrange yourself.
The cards at the top
Write a proposal comes first if your company uses proposals and you have been given access to them. It quotes for a piece of work, and accepting it signs the engagement letter.
Send for signature opens the envelope wizard. An envelope is the document you sent for signature, together with everyone who has to act on it.
Self sign is for a document only you need to put your name to. Nobody else is involved and no email goes out.
The same three starts are always in the Create menu in the top bar, on every screen. If you know them well enough not to need the cards, press Customise and turn off Show quick start. That choice is yours alone and you can turn it back on the same way.
The panels
Key counts is a row of four headline numbers. Awaiting signature and Completed (30 days) are always the first two. The other two are Drafts and Documents, or, on an account using proposals, Open proposals and Accepted (30 days) in their place. Each one is clickable and takes you to the list behind it.
Needs your attention is the panel to read first. It gathers envelopes and proposals with a deadline coming up, a silence that has gone on too long, or something that did not finish, and gives each row an action you can take without leaving Home. Where a nudge is the right answer the row carries a Remind button.
Awaiting your signature lists envelopes waiting on you personally, with one-click signing.
Both of those panels disappear when they have nothing to say, and the panels below them move up. An empty Home is a good sign, not a broken one.
The rest are yours to choose from: Recent envelopes, Recent proposals, Recent documents, Recent activity, Weekly activity, Templates, Bulk sends, Quick actions, Client engagements, Out of contract, Work won, Proposal pipeline, Time to sign and Conversion funnel. Administrators also get Plan usage.
Rearranging it
Press Customise in the top right. The page goes into edit mode and each panel gains a handle.
- Drag a panel by its handle, or use the arrows, to move it.
- Toggle a panel between half width and full width from its own controls.
- Remove one you never read.
- Press Add widget to bring back anything you removed, or add one you have not used.
- Use Show quick start to keep or hide the row of starting cards at the top.
Nothing is saved until you press Save layout. Cancel puts it back as it was. Reset returns Home to the product default and forgets your arrangement.
Your layout is yours alone. Changing it does not affect anyone else at your company.
Why a panel might not be there
Panels appear according to what your plan includes and what you are allowed to see. Proposal panels are absent from an account that does not use proposals, and Plan usage is shown to owners and administrators only, because it is billing information.
If a panel vanishes, your arrangement is untouched underneath. It comes back exactly where you left it when the reason it was hidden goes away.
If Home looks empty
If every panel is gone, press Customise, then Add widget, and put back the ones you want. If the panels are there but every number is zero, you may be looking at a brand new account, or your view may be scoped to a department that has not sent anything yet.
